Professional fertilisers usually last between 10-12 weeks and give the lawn different nutrients which are needed at certain times of the year. Lawns are a living thing as as such need feeding to help them reach their full potential.

The better growth you have in the lawn will help combat stressors such as moss and weed's. Different fertilisers can give the lawn nutrients which are lost through the year.

Using a handheld or push spreader for larger lawns we can calibrate the equipment to apply the correct amount of fertiliser to lawns. The calibrate can depend on the granule size being used. We have seen the drastic results of incorrect spreader calibration.

Why use our fertiliser instead of DIY?

We have visited so many lawns that have suffered from these do it at home 3 in 1 product and the problem is that the application rates are wrong, or not correctly explained on the packaging, lack of education and where a quick fix idea causes more harm than good.

Most of these products being a 3 in 1 contain too much at once for the lawn especially when not applied in the correct conditions which results in scorching to the lawn and an unsightly appearance. 

The cost of these products usually outweighs a visit from a professional with none of the risk.
